Ill. Sir Charles lives in Ellenton and was born in Brooklyn, New York. He attended schools in Buffalo and Kenmore, New York. He was drafted into the US Army in 1963 and served until February 1967, and was stationed in Fort Gordon, Georgia and Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri (Hospital Administration Specialist and Army Basic Infantry Administration.) He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Relations and Mathematics from Missouri Valley College, Marshall, Missouri in 1970, and from the University of Northern Colorado, CSAP, Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 1980. He taught in the Manatee County School system at Manatee High School from 1971 to 1988 and Lincoln Middle School from 1988 to 1999 when he retired. He became a member of The University Chapter Order of DeMolay, Buffalo, New York in 1955, He moved to Bradenton in August 1963. Charles became an Advisor to Manatee County Chapter Order of DeMolay Bradenton Florida 1970 and continues to the present. He has received DeMolay Chevalier, Adviser Cross of Honor and DeMolay Legion of Honor, Florida State DeMolay Director of Ritual and was elected Honorary Member of International Supreme Council Order of DeMolay 2006. Is Currently an Active Member of the International Supreme Council and Deputy Executive Officer in Florida. Charles was Raised a Master Mason in 1967 at Plato Lodge, Plato, Missouri and demitted to Braidentown Lodge No. 99 Bradenton, Florida in 1970. He received his York Rite degrees in Missouri and demitted to Manatee River Chapter No. 18, Royal Arch Masons, Bradenton Council No. 9, Royal & Select Masters and Trinity Commandery No. 16, Knights Templar in 1970. He held offices of Excellent High Priest - 1980, Illustrious Master - 1981, Eminent Commander - 1982, Worshipful Master - 1982 and Knight York Cross of Honor - 1983. Other offices held: |
